Tool inputs and network diagnostics

Most text, data, image, time, and security transformations run in your browser. Their inputs and outputs are not intentionally sent to ToolCLI servers unless the tool clearly identifies a network request.

Domain Checker sends entered domains directly to Cloudflare public DNS-over-HTTPS or rdap.org, depending on the selected mode. IP Inspector requests the IP and request headers visible to the ToolCLI edge API and uses Cloudflare and Google STUN servers to gather WebRTC network candidates.

• External DNS, RDAP, and STUN providers receive the lookup or network details needed to answer the request and handle them under their own policies.
• Clipboard and download actions are performed by your browser; ToolCLI does not intentionally send clipboard contents or generated downloads to its servers.

Edge infrastructure and request metadata

ToolCLI is delivered through Cloudflare managed edge infrastructure. Serving pages and APIs may process necessary request metadata such as IP address, request URL, timestamp, User-Agent, country hint, and forwarding headers for delivery, security, and abuse prevention.

Retention depends on the applicable service and operator configuration. We do not promise a fixed retention period that we cannot verify. Contact feedback@toolcli.com for questions about request metadata.

Cookies and LocalStorage

ToolCLI uses first-party Cookie storage for language and theme preferences. Favorites and JSON history are stored in your browser using LocalStorage. Clearing site data removes these local preferences and saved browser data.

• Google Analytics measures page and product usage.
• Google AdSense supports advertising.
• Microsoft Clarity provides interaction diagnostics such as session and interface usage insights.

Third-party services

For visitors in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, ToolCLI uses Google Privacy & messaging to request choices before optional analytics or advertising starts. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load only after analytics consent; personalized advertising loads only after the required advertising and personalization purposes are granted. Rejecting these purposes does not disable ToolCLI tools.

Outside those regions, these services may load normally under this limited regional setup. When loaded, their scripts may read or write cookies or other browser storage and may receive IP address, User-Agent, page URL, device information, and measurement or interaction data under their respective policies.

These services are separate from tool processing. We do not intentionally include tool input or output content in analytics events, but the providers still receive the ordinary request and page context described above.

Questions and choices

Use the “Privacy choices” link in the footer to reopen the official Google message when it applies. You can also clear ToolCLI cookies and LocalStorage using your browser controls and use browser privacy controls for third-party services. Because ToolCLI has no accounts, we may need enough context to identify data associated with a request and may not always be able to link it to you.
